| Customer Reviews: Great Bench February 6, 2010 S. VORUZ 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This workout bench is great. It's very well built and allows you to do flat bench, incline, and even decline. You can also you it to do situps with it in the decline position. it was well worth the money.
Nice sturdy weight bench April 1, 2009 D. Phan 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
With two young boys, a foldaway work out station provides much more safety and peace of mind. This bench can be fold flat (8") and stow away under our bed once we're done within a minute.
It's well built, with solid metal frame, supporting pieces are firmly welded. Seat, back are nicely padded, adjustable tabs are easy to slide in and out - only negative is that the adjustable back maybe a few inches too short as half of my head (I'm 5'10") sticks out when I do bench/incline.
Functionally, I used it to do bench press, multiple inclined position press, sit up with leg lock.
Overall, it's a very nice work out bench for the price, it allows me to do all the exercise I intended with this bench when making the purchase.
Good bench but ... August 14, 2010 Bryan (Texas, USA) This is a good bench except for two things:
1) I don't like that the front part is at a constant angle, which is good if you're going to be doing decline ab work. As far as using it as a bench press bench, as I do, I'm still not used to the angled front seat. I really wish this bench could lay completely flat for benching.
2) I wish the bench wasn't so low to the ground. Coupled with the angled seat, the low ground clearance made it difficult to get used to while bench pressing.
Aside from the aforementioned, it's very sturdy and can hold up to 400 lbs., which is more than enough for us (my girl and me) at this point. Since I'm only 5' 7", the height is just about right. It's almost too small for my girlfriend who is 5' 9", but she doesn't have that much of a problem with it. With that said, this bench was definitely not designed for those who are tall.
The five positions lock into place and are very easy to change from one to the other. When you're finished using the bench it folds up nicely and can easily be stored in a closet or under a bed. If it wasn't for the permanently angled seat and low ground clearance, I would've given this bench five stars instead of four.
Good but not for tall-types.... January 8, 2010 Yaya (Texas, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this because I needed a bench that would fit in a make-shift home gym - love that it collapses. My husband however won't be using it much because it's very low to the ground (I'm 5'4" and he's 6'). For taller types, it may not be very comfy. Still, it suits my needs, was shipped well (no damage) and great price!
